One in three Canadian families cannot afford to enroll their children in organized sports.

Launched in 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities (CTJS) tackles Canada's issue of inactivity in kids.  Jumpstart helps families facing financial struggles so that they can enroll their kids in sports programs within the community. Since 2005 over 1 million Canadian families have been helped by Jumpstart.
