The Peel Halton Soccer Association will be recognized as a leader and positive model in all aspects of the game of soccer.

OUR MISSION

The Peel Halton Soccer Association is a not-for-profit corporation comprised of a community of clubs, leagues, players, administrators, team officials, match officials and volunteers. Our mission is to provide opportunities for any person in Peel Halton to participate in organized soccer and Futsal in any role of their choosing and to assist all participants in reaching their potential within a well-managed, cooperative and progressive soccer environment.

About Us

Established in 1978 and incorporated in 1982, the Peel Halton Soccer Association is an Ontario Not-for-Profit corporation. 

The corporation is governed by an elected board of nine persons and daily operations are managed by a full-time staff of five. In addition, PHSA has a number of Operational Committees which report to board of directors. 

The Peel Halton Soccer Association membership consists of: 20 Youth Clubs, 20 Senior Competitive and Recreational Clubs, 17 Associate, 3 Ontario Soccer Referees Association Branches and 3 Leagues. With excess of 58, 000 outdoor and 25,000 indoor player registrations, 3000 coaches, 1200 match officials and 400 administrators, PHSA is the largest District Association in Canada.

PHSA is a member of the Ontario Soccer Association, PHSA is one of the twenty-one District Associations that participate in the governance of Soccer in Ontario. With representation on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Soccer Association, PHSA assists in the delivery of programs and services and the implementation of policy.

Peel Halton Soccer Association’s objectives are:

  • To promote, develop and govern the game, both indoor and outdoor, in the Regional Municipalities of Peel and Halton.
  • To represent and act on behalf of the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) in the administration of OSA programs within the District.
  • To represent and act on behalf of its member organizations and assist them to develop and effectively administer soccer programs.

We strive to work with our governing bodies and members to afford participants the ability  to reach their potential through the provisions of programs and best practices for developing players, coaches, match officials, and administrators.

Our members are technically sophisticated, engaged and integrated in their communities. From Active Start, Soccer for Life to high performance and ability programs, PHSA members are the core of the beautiful game. In Peel Halton we believe in meaningful competition. Our leagues operate with age a development appropriate competition and our Clubs continually distinguish themselves on and off the pitch.

Soccer is the game Ontarians want to play and Peel Halton is where they want to play it.
